Welcome to Burbank Elementary School!
In an effort to provide our families another opportunity to pick up learning packets, we will have two satellite locations for packet pickup. These locations will be in the parking lot of Syms Middle School - 170 Fox Hill Road - and the parking lot of Tarrant Middle School - 1435 Todds Lane, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Packets are for students in grades kindergarten through fourth as well as 5th grade language arts. HCS school staff will be on site to assist with the distribution. Please note that this will be the final opportunity to pick up a K-4 and/or 5th grade Alternative Learning Packet for your child. However, learning packets will remain available on the division’s Alternative Learning Plan website which can be found on our HCS homepage. If the Governor issues additional restrictions in regard to COVID-19, which impacts this distribution plan, we will advise you of any needed changes as soon as possible.
Students in grades 5-12 should be utilizing their Chromebooks to access the Alternative Learning Plans Website.
If families have general questions during this school closure, we encourage you to please utilize email and communicate with your school principal and/or your child’s teacher. If families do not have access to email, they can call 757-727-2000 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17. After 1p.m. tomorrow, please leave a message and an HCS staff member will return your call as soon as possible between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday-Friday.
