PBIS at Burbank
PBIS, standing for Positive Behavior Intervention Systems, is a method whereby students at Burbank receive rewards for positive behavior displayed throughout the school year. At Burbank we implement this through the ClassDojo system. Within the classroom, students are rewarded by their teachers on a weekly basis. Each quarter, students will also participate in a schoolwide Bulldog Party.
Bulldog Parties are Back!
The first party of the year will be on November 10th. All students will be able to participate in bulldog parties this year. Students that earn Silver and Gold Bulldog rewards from their teacher will get a little extra time at their party, and access to exclusive activities. Your student's homeroom teacher will send home more specific information about Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers on November 1st.
